Andante Hotel Bedroom

Barcelona is one of our favourite cities in Europe. There is just so much to see and do and the weather always seems to be fantastic. We’ve already covered our top 5 things to do in Barcelona but the next big question is…where to stay? On our latest trip we stayed at the Andante Hotel in the El Raval district of Barcelona.

Andante Hotel

Andante Hotel

For newbies to Barcelona, Andante Hotel is perfectly located to help you make the most of your weekend away. It is situated near two metro stations and the main tourist thoroughfare Las Ramblas. The area itself is a little quieter than the busy tourist areas but close enough that it was only ever a short walk home in the evening. The hotel is very modern and the staff at reception were very friendly and knowledgeable. One of the biggest selling points of this hotel is the rooftop infinity plunge pool which is open to all residents and offers stunning views across the city.

The Room

A bedroom at the Andante Hotel

The rooms at the Andante hotel are basic but have everything that you need for a city break. Each room has a telephone, satellite TV and a spacious en-suite bathroom. We would recommend trying to get a room with a balcony as ours was really comfortable and a great place to spend the early evening before dinner.

The Breakfast

Buffet and dinning area at Andante Hotel

Breakfast was excellent at the Andante Hotel. The hotel offers a simple buffet breakfast with different options each day. There was always plenty to choose from including hot and cold options. The coffee was pretty good too which is always a bonus. Breakfast was included in the price of our room but was very reasonable if you wanted to add it on as an extra.
